BRC-A has partnered with Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) to deliver ‘how to’ PPA workshops for business energy buyers to share the basics of renewable energy procurement.  EnergyCo is delivering essential infrastructure in the NSW Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) aimed at reducing the cost and increasing the availability of renewable energy in NSW.

Renewable PPAs enable businesses to benefit from low cost, high-value renewable electricity, reduce emissions and share in the benefits these projects deliver to regional communities. To learn more, click here.

The 2-hour introductory workshops were held both in-person and online in July – September 2024. Following these introductory workshops, thanks to EnergyCo, we will also deliver a 1.5-day PPA Training Bootcamp for interested businesses.

We are also supporting regional businesses to go renewable via PPA buyers’ groups, which enable the pooling of electricity load for a range of benefits including sharper pricing, sharing resources and greater sustainability impact. If you are interested in buyers’ groups, please read here and get in touch by email info@businessrenewables.org.au.

If you’re a proactive leader and are keen to learn from experts, register for our Buyers’ Bootcamp at the link above!
