Register you Interest in our new Corporate Renewable Energy Buyers Group in 2024

Is your company looking to buy offsite renewable electricity via PPA, but your electricity usage is too low, or you’re not sure where to start?

We are inviting companies with a minimum energy usage of 1,000 MWh per year (spending $150K or over) to join our new Buyers’ Group.

When you join a Buyers’ Group, your electricity load is pooled with other companies to attract a better deal.  As an independent, not-for-profit community of business, BRC-A will convene and facilitate the Buyers’ Group for interested companies looking to aggregate their electricity load this year.

If you would like to learn more about the Group, please Register your Interest or email us info@businessrenewables.org.au and we will be in touch.

Our Buyer’s Group Program is open to businesses operating across NSW either inside and outside the City of Sydney LGA, and to Councils seeking to help businesses in their LGA to decarbonise their operations.

We wish to thank the City of Sydney for supporting this initiative.

Why join a Buyers’ Group?

When you join a buyer’s group, your electricity usage is pooled with others in a group, increasing your company’s buying power and giving you an opportunity to achieve greater sustainability impact.

As an independent PPA expert and not-for-profit organisation, BRC-A will work with the Buyer’s Group to start the process of seeking a low-cost, high-value renewable energy deal from the market.

We will work to establish a scalable, repeatable model for renewable energy purchasing by groups of businesses with operations in the City of Sydney, decarbonising business operations across the LGA.

If you are interested in learning more about BRC-A’s Buyer’s Group, please join this webinar  or get in touch with Jackie McKeon jackie@businessrenewables.org.au.
