Port Macquarie-Hastings Council (PMHC) employs over 600 people and is responsible for providing services to the community that assists in meeting the community’s needs in an equitable and inclusive way to enhance the area’s environmental, social and economic qualities.

Past projects
Past projects include installing solar PV systems on multiple council facilities, energy efficiency initiatives such as LED lighting, heat pumps and process controls in wastewater/water systems. Recent landfill gas flaring trials have shown potential to flare and maybe provide energy too.
